It’s important to us that people get to who who we are, and so I thought I would start with my favourite quote – it’s a good one isn’t it? And really, like life itself, this quote can be taken and put into so many aspects of our daily lives and it’s one I remind myself on frequently.
I was recently asked if I could list my top 5 passions/things that are important to me so I thought I would share them here:
- My friends and family and spending quality time together.
- Giving back.
- Walking.
- Music
- Reading (3, 4 and 5 could easily be on the same level)
It’s extremely important to me that, as people, we don’t just take. And by that I mean in all ways – from the people around us, our environment and wider world and community, money, love, time and much, much more! It sounds so simple doesn’t it, however I do think it becomes quite difficult to ‘give back’ when our daily lives speed by, the days and weeks become a never ending cycle sometimes. So this is one of my goals with our business – to give something back. And yes, you can argue that a large part of our work enables us to do just that – but it is within who we are too and I hope that my passion for giving back shines through with the work I do.
