Wyndham Park saw the launch of our first project for the Witham/Slea Blue Green Corridor. Installation of 2 natural berms, created using seasoned sweet chestnut stakes and fascines(natural woody material) from our preferred supplier ‘Salix’. These berms also saw the installation of pre-planted coir pallets, planted with Yellow Iris, Marsh Marigolds, Water Mint as well as a variety of sedge, reeds and succulent herbaceous plants.
The berms will create natural habitat for a variety of species, including our native and protected White Clawed Crayfish.
As a company, we are local to Grantham, so to be able to complete this project in our local town, river and parks has been very rewarding.
